Present Status of Family: I live with my parents and 2 brothers in Makelamardi.

Experience with Shramik Kala: I began working for SAS 10 years ago as a teacher for small children here in my village.4 yaers ago , I started working in the center only in the afternoon, because in the morning I was teaching the kids.I started with 6 months of tailoring training on the machine and also handstitching.Now, I mainly do attendance work and quality control. Furthermore, I am a leader of one of our Self-Help-Groups, so I am responsibl;e for collecting all the money which is saved.I also look after other SHGs here in MAkelamardi. I get 2 payments, one as teacher and one for workingh in the 'center', so I have no financial problems and can maintain my whole family.I have a lot of exhibition experience and already look forward for the next fair.

Personal Likes and Dislikes: What i like to do is milking the cow and I love to sing.
I cannot appreciate when our SHG groups are divided and don't stick together as one big group.

Wishes, Hopes and Dreams: For me it wouyld be a dream come true if even more women could get employed here and the importance of our work would grow.
